Brian Mayton graduated with a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Washington in June 2008. He now works as professional staff for the UW, supporting projects and courses that use Intel's iMote2 embedded platform. At Intel Research Seattle, he developed new sensor boards that add electric field pretouch to a robotic arm and hand for the Personal Robotics project.

His personal interests include electronics, embedded systems programming, photography, and high-end headphone audio.
